“The Islamic Centre has planned many beneficial activities throughout the month of Ramadhan and I would like to call all PTjs that were bestowed responsibility to perform these activities to do so perfectly and creatively.

“Employ this opportunity to increase practices such as tadarus, giving alms, qiyamullail and others. It would be our loss if we waste this auspicious Ramadhan performing disadvantageous deeds,” he said during his officiating speech of the Ihya’ Ramadan 1436H programme at the UniMAP Lecture Hall, Pauh Putra Campus last night.

He also implored to the UniMAP community to take the opportunity to carry out various acts of worship that are sunat and fardhu with maximum appreciation to collect a multitude of pahala in the month of Ramadhan.

Among the programmes planned by the UniMAP Islamic Centre are the Mukmin Profesional III: Pengurusan Harta Pusaka, Faraid dan Hibah Seminar, Ahlan Ya Ramadan @ UniMAP.FM, Tadarus Al-Quran, Nasyid Competition, Bicara Muslimah, donations to flood victims, bubur lambuk donations, Nuzul Al-Quran religious forum, Zakat collection, Ihtifal Ihya’ Ramadan, Friday Prayers with the Perlis community, Khatam Al-Quran, Jejak Ukhwah, Ifthor Jamaei at Residential Colleges, Ifthor Jamaei with international students and other activities.

Earlier in the same hall, the Islamic Centre with the collaboration of the UniMAP School of Computer and Communication Engineering organised a Mukmin Profesional III: Pengurusan Harta Pusaka, Faraid dan Hibah Seminar.

Approximately 100 members of the UniMAP community as well as the Perlis Lands and Mines Office personnel participated in the day-long seminar.
